We are thrilled to announce that we’ve made diabetes advocacy even easier with the launch of the DPAC App.

iPhone and Android DPAC App

You’re Busy. We get that.

Many of us have to focus on diabetes daily management on top of jobs and family. Diabetes policy advocacy may not be a top priority for you – and we get that. The Diabetes Patient Advocacy Coalition helps our community by doing the work for you: researching the issues and bills, finding your representatives, even writing emails that you can quickly send to your representatives. Now there’s an App for that.

Diabetes Advocacy on the Go with the DPAC App.

Unless you’re sitting in front of your computer all day, you may miss important actions or breaking news that impacts our community. But there are moments when you are waiting…. at the DMV, the grocery store line, at the doctor’s office… that with the DPAC App, you can quickly take action in just a few clicks.

Why Download the DPAC App?

We’ve made it even easier to learn, advocate, and connect with fellow advocates. With the DPAC App, you can:

In just a few clicks, you can:

  • Call, tweet, email, and share stories with your representatives from the DPAC App
  • Learn and take immediate action on issues that are important in our community
  • Share your own news on the news feed for others to learn
  • Get in-depth articles on healthcare advocacy and diabetes issues that impact us
  • Connect with other advocates and even build an advocacy network in your city or state
  • Earn points to unlock special advocacy opportunities

You download the DPAC App and help all people with diabetes with your quick and easy advocacy actions.

How to Download the DPAC App

Easy.

iPhone DPAC App

Android DPAC App

If you’re an iPhone user, click on the image of the iPhone.

If you’re an Android user, click on the image of the Android phone.

Follow the prompts after downloading. You can sign in using your email address, your Facebook account, or your phone number. As you fill in your information, make sure that you put in your address, including your state, because there are state -specific advocacy issues.

And then, have fun. (I know… sounds crazy. Have fun with advocacy?) You’ll earn Action Points for taking polls or surveys or… actions like calling or emailing your representatives to let them know your opinion on diabetes issues. As you earn points, you’ll learn how easy it is to advocate in just a few minutes each day.

We Do The Work So You Don’t Have To…

You’re busy, but we know you want to help the community stay healthy and safe. You want to ensure that everyone with diabetes has access to services, medications, and supplies.

We do, too. And we need your help.

Please share feedback with us after you download the DPAC App. There’s a Feedback area under Dashboard -> Settings-> Feedback – tell us what works for you, what doesn’t, and what we could do to make advocacy even easier.

The DPAC App is supported by a grant from Lilly Diabetes.
